Roth & Junius Stroh Violin /Stroviol New Edition 4/4, made in Europe.The Stroh violin (developped by Johannes Matthias Augustus Stroh 1828-1914) is a combination of a violin and a trumpet which works on the gramophone principle.The bridge rests on a resonant membrane that picks up vibrations through a thin rod (needle), which has the role of conducting mechanical vibrations, so the resulting sound is amplified inside the trumpet.
