Arturia Efx Ambient (ESD); sound design plugin; Efx Ambient combines spectral processing, feedback-delay networks and complex effect circuits to create evolving atmospheric soundscapes; suitable for transitions, tension layers, pads, textural enhancement and modulated ambience effects; offers six modes, each with its own signal architecture and characteristic tone/space pathways; Reflect - Backwards Swells - slices the input signal into segments to create reverse-style swells; Woven - Tape Stutter - generates shimmering tape-like textures; Siren - Stretched Resonance - stretches and smears harmonic content into resonant atmospheric clouds; Organist - Harmonic Generation - produces overtones for organ-like, long-sustaining tonal structures; Codec - Lossy Compression - emulates lossy digital compression with artifacts and freezes for lo-fi digital degradation; Sunken - Ominous Atmosphere - blends dark tonal shaping with down-pitched reverb to create underwater-style ambience; provides mode-specific tone parameters; includes space controls for size, decay, width and modulation to shape diffuse, dynamic environments; uses an X/Y macro to simultaneously control space (X) and tone (Y); advanced panel with extended tone/space parameters, utilities and expanded macro programming; four modulators - sequencer, function, random and envelope follower; flexible macro and parameter assignments via drag-and-drop routing with adjustable amount, curve and range; input filter for preprocessing, pre-delay for spatial separation and ducking to enhance transient clarity; includes over 90 presets
